Atacado ou Varejo? Qual o melhor segmento para investir?

“Junto com um sócio, estou montando um plano de negócio para vender empadas e outros salgados. Pensamos em vender no atacado (para lanchonetes, padarias e cafés). Vocês acham viável vender no atacado, ou seria melhor montar uma lojinha e começar debaixo? (obs. a lojinha pediria um investimento de R$ 100 mil, o que é mais puxado neste momento). Não sei direito se o plano de negócios pro atacado é diferente do comércio varejista, porque imagino que no atacado o nível de produção, comercial e marketing seja mais profissional.”

Se você e seu sócio estão montando um Plano de Negócios, este é o primeiro passo para quem quer empreender em qualquer ramo de atividade.

É através do ou dos planos de negócios (digo isso, pois é possível elaborar apenas um plano de negócios tanto para vender no atacado e no varejo, sintetizando as informações em apenas um planejamento, bem como, elaborar um plano para cada estratégia de comercialização e público-alvo, o que possibilita uma análise mais minuciosa e independente) que justamente levantamos as informações e dados necessários para as tomadas de decisões e definição de estratégia de entrada no mercado e tudo mais o que necessita para realizar seu projeto de empreendimento, sendo, entretanto, um instrumento importantíssimo para “análise dos riscos”.

Em relação a sua dúvida, investir no atacado ou no varejo, tudo vai depender das informações que levantar através da elaboração do seu plano de negócios, o que lhe possibilitará justamente analisar os índices de viabilidade e riscos, de acordo com o capital disponível e fatores do seu mercado de atuação, concorrência, público-alvo, produção, enfim, tudo o que envolve o início de um novo negócio.

Vender para o atacado é interessante, pois você lida com uma “carteira de clientes” menor, entretanto, sua “margem de lucro” (maior volume x menor lucro) também será menor. Trata-se de uma “venda ativa”, ou seja, você terá que captar seus clientes, produzir e entregar, resumidamente.

Para este perfil de Cliente você deve vender não o seu produto em si, mas sim, uma maior lucratividade para ele, praticidade, comodidade, economia etc.

Já a venda para o varejo através de um ponto comercial, trata-se de uma venda mais receptiva, ou seja, os clientes vão até o seu estabelecimento em busca dos seus produtos. Certamente neste cenário sua produção será menor, porém, sua margem de lucro maior (menor volume X maior lucratividade) por estar atendendo o consumidor final.

Para este público-alvo você deverá vender higiene, saúde, segurança, confiança, além de prestar um excelente atendimento.

No seu Plano de Negócios, em ambos os casos, deverá azer uma minuciosa análise de mercado e da concorrência da área onde pretende atuar. Conhecer a concorrência, suas estratégias, pontos fortes e fracos, certamente lhe ajudará e muito a definir boas estratégias de entrada no mercado, buscando “diferenciais” que possa oferecer aos seus Clientes, para que possa vencer a barreira da concorrência e conquistar sua fatia do mercado.

Jamais economize “tempo” ou tenha “pressa” em finalisar seu Plano de Negócios, Gaste o tempo que for necessário até que esteja seguro em relação às informações e dados analizados.

O Plano de Negócios não serve apenas para decidir se deve investir ou não, mas e principalmente para definir o “como, onde, quanto, quando e por que” investir, além de procurar minimizar os “fatores de risco”.

Será o RAIO X de seu empreendimento e deverá ser revisto e atualizado pelo menos uma vez por ano.

A maioria dos pequenos empreendedores, além de não elaborarem um bom Plano de Negócios e terem muita pressa, acaba se pelo menos elaboram o plano, cometendo um erro fatal, qual é justamente a falta de atualização e análise de seu plano de negócios de tempos em tempos.
